GOLD Institute: It is the desire of the Greater Ohio district to provide resources for the leadership of our local churches. As individuals involved in the ministry of Christian Education in your local church, we are here to serve you. One of those resources is the GOLD Institute. The GOLD Institute is an acronym for Greater Ohio Leadership Development Institute. The GOLD Institute is an old friend with a new name. Greater Ohio District has a strong history of district sponsored ministerial training. We realize that leadership development is much broader than just individuals preparing for the ministry. It is our desire to offer an expanding number of courses which speak to the needs of our Sunday School teachers, youth workers, children's workers, etc. Courses may be audited (those not pursuing ministerial training), for $60 plus the cost of necessary text(s).

GOLD Institute courses offer approximately eighteen hours in a classroom setting, usually for three Saturdays. GOLD Institute offers opportunity for personal spiritual growth, learning, and a camaraderie as you interact with others in a relaxed classroom environment.
