COURSE DESCRIPTION
Psychology is a journey into the inner space. Psychology is such a broad science that no short description will do it justice. For our purpose, psychology is a study of human thinking and actions. (The goal of psychology is to describe, understand, predict, and control behavior.)
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The student who successfully completes this course should be able to:
name the developmental areas of a person (Luke 2:52)
identify, using one or two words, the developmental stages of specific age groups
describe the 4 major types of personalities
relate more effectively with persons of the various types of personalities
analyze statistical information as to use or misuse
use basic statistical methods to communicate with others

COURSE REQUIREMENTS (*optional)
Read each textbook (Write a paper expressing your evaluation of each)
Take 2 tests.
1. Test #1 – The characteristics, one or two words, of each age group (10) for the five aspects of personality (May 10).
2. Test #2 – Match the personality types (4) with the given word, phrase, or statement (May 17).
*3. Write to me (in 6-9 months) explaining how this course has affected your ministry. (Question: Of what value was this course to you personally and to your ministry?)
A collection, from at least 5 different sourses, of 20 articles which use or refer to statistics (Due by May 30).

Class Participation: 20%
Reading and writing 25%
Articles 15%
Tests 40%
